What happened to lady poverty?
Boring company?
Not at all!
St. Francis always has been my hero, and I put in a long career working with the poorest of the poor. I never was bored.
You really can see Jesus when you look into the eyes of the poor.
That being said, the church is beautiful, it's just hard to consider it Franciscan.
